Here’s a new list of upcoming rum releases for the US market compiled from TTB label certifications approved in September 2025. These are only label approvals recorded at the US TTB, so none of these are likely to be available yet and it’s anyone’s guess when they might appear in stores.
This doesn’t include every rum label approval, I’ve tried to triage the approvals to the brands that people would recognize, while also including other labels that might be interesting but excluding spiced/flavored products and most cachacas.
The TTB approved 71 rum labels in total this month, 28 are covered here.
This month’s highlights include the two debut bottles from the Rumcast, a new Beenleigh release in LM&V’s Magnum series, Burdekin’s debut on the US market, a 20 YO Long Pond for Smuggler’s Cove, several new Mexican rums, and more!
You can find the September 2025 edition of this report here.
Commentary and Interesting Things
- Twenty One Wine and Spirits is still registering other peoples’ labels. This month they’ve registered Zacapa, but with a French origin for some strange reason. I’m still eager to hear people’s opinions about what’s going on here. Last month they registered a ton of releases.

This made a prior appearance in February, and back then it seemed like it was having a bit of an identity crisis. It’s back now, and it no longer thinks it’s a piloncillo rum that tastes like maguey. Or was mixed with maguey. Or whatever it thought it was back then.

Ozama Añejo, Approved 22 September 2025.

The Grand Taj, Approved 3 September 2025.
We’ve seen this previously, and the idea of an “Indian Desi Style” rum made in China still strikes me as a strange thing.
