Here’s a new list of upcoming rum releases for the US market compiled from TTB label certifications approved in February 2026. These are only label approvals recorded at the US TTB, so none of these are likely to be available yet and it’s anyone’s guess when they might appear in stores.
This doesn’t include every rum label approval, I’ve tried to triage the approvals to the brands that people would recognize, while also including other labels that might be interesting but excluding spiced/flavored products and most cachacas.
The TTB approved 74 rum labels in total this month, 35 are covered here.
This month’s highlights include lots of Mexican rums from Alambique Serrano and Villa Alta, a 22 YO Foursquare from The Last Drop, several American fresh cane juice rums, the first (I think) three chamber still rum, and more!
You can find a link to the February 2026 edition of this report here.
Commentary and Interesting Things
This is the first month in a while where we haven’t seen any odd filings where one company registers another company’s products!

Flor de Caña
Añejo Reserva, Approved 26 February 2026.
This is an unusual release in a seldom-used TTB category: “Diluted Rum Gold”. US regulations require that anything labeled as rum be at least 40% ABV. Anything below that level goes into a different category as a diluted rum. This doesn’t happen often, and I wonder why we’re getting this. My guess based on this and the Cristalino release below is that this is an attempt to address some consumers moving to lower alcohol cocktails.

Cristalino Low Proof, Approved 6 February 2026.
Another diluted rum, this time at 28%.

Family Legacy 20 YO, Approved 5 February 2026.

Hampden Estate
The Younger 3L, Approved 17 February 2026.
If you’re looking at this label and saying “Oh, I’ve seen this before, it’s already in my store” you should look closer. This is for a three liter bottle. Though the back label is missing a zero (it says it’s just 300mL).

Montanya
Exclusiva, Approved 10 February 2026.

Other Releases
Cigar City Spirits Three Chamber, Approved 25 February 2026.
I believe this might be the first rum released that was produced on a three chamber still. I can’t wait to try it, and I also hope there’ll be a higher strength release in the future!

Contemplative Spirits ROK F.I.G Hampden LROK, Approved 26 February 2026.
This is a release for Arizona imported by Raising Glasses.

The Last Drop Signature 22YO Foursquare, Approved 12 February 2026.
Sazerac also got approval for 50mL labels as well.

Cutwater Bali Hai White, Approved 6 February 2026.
“Crafted from real sugar” makes me wonder what they think the alternative is.

Cutwater Bali Hai Tiki Dark Rum, Approved 5 February 2026.

Cutwater Bali Hai Barrel Aged 12 YO, Approved 6 February 2026.

Villa Alta EGR-EB-001, Approved 20 February 2026.
This and the following two releases look great, and I can’t wait to try them!

Villa Alta EGR-FO-001, Approved 20 February 2026.

Villa Alta EGR-NA-001, Approved 20 February 2026.

Sugar Sand Red, Approved 23 February 2026.
I’m not sure what distinguishes this from Sugar Sand’s other rums, but it’s possible this could be a single variety rum from red cane?

Merito, Approved 4 February 2026.

Merito Reserva del Maestro, Approved 4 February 2026.

Merito Replica, Approved 12 February 2026.
These are intended to be replica labels of the 1940 branding.

John Emerald Jacques Blanc, Approved 25 February 2026.
I’m always happy to see more American distilleries working with fresh cane juice. I’ve been to John Emerald Distilling before, and it’s great to see that they’re working with local farmers on this! Hopefully I can snag a bottle.

Varadero 5 Anejo Especial, Approved 13 February 2026.

Izalco De Luxe, Approved 4 February 2026.

Himalayan Honey Hunter 4YO, Approved 11 February 2026.
There’s a smaller label that has the strength on it that I didn’t include here – this is bottled at 42.8% from Yeti Distillery in Nepal.

Papá Pedro Premium, Approved 26 February 2026.
I don’t know anything about the distillery or brand, but I’m including this release because it’s unusual to see a Puerto Rican rum released at more than 50% ABV.
