Upcoming US Rum Releases of Interest — June 2026

Here’s a new list of upcoming rum releases for the US market compiled from TTB label certifications approved in May 2026. These are only label approvals recorded at the US TTB, so none of these are likely to be available yet and it’s anyone’s guess when they might appear in stores. It’s also important to note that this report is based off of label approvals, so it’s possible that there are existing products listed here, but with a new label.

This doesn’t include every rum label approval, I’ve tried to triage the approvals to the brands that people would recognize, while also including other labels that might be interesting but excluding spiced/flavored products and most cachacas.

The TTB approved 96 rum labels in total this month, 18 are covered here.

This month’s highlights include single cane variety releases from Rosalie Bay, a new Habitation Velier release, a part-Cuban rum, two 70+% ABV Bajan rums, some releases for the BTAC-obsessed Bourbon tater in your life, and more!

You can find a link to the May 2026 edition of this report here.

Commentary and Interesting Things

Releases of Interest

Alambique Serrano

Vida Nativa Blend 4 Mariposa 88, Approved 5 May 2026.

Amrut

Two Indies White, Approved 13 May 2026.

Compagnie des Indes

Great White Dominican Republic, Approved 22 May 2026.

We don’t see many CdI releases in the US, and this is the first release from their Great White series I’ve seen come into the US market.

Jamaica Navy Strength Blend, Approved 28 May 2026.

La Sirene, Approved 28 May 2026.

This should be an interesting product. Here’s what Wikipedia has to say about Ratafia, if you’re not familiar with it (I wasn’t).

What’s even more interesting is where the rum comes from – Cuba & Paraguay. I assume the TTB let the label sail through since they’re not directly charged with enforcing US sanctions on Cuban rum imports. It’ll be interesting to see how this works out when the actual bottles arrive. I assume the product’s origin will be marked as France, but will US Customs notice Cuba on the label? Let’s see what happens!

Latino Venezuela, Approved 28 May 2026.

Pacifico Panama & Thailand, Approved 28 May 2026.

Dictador

Game Changer Rich Rum, Approved 20 May 2026.

Habitation Velier

Rainforest 2022, Approved 1 May 2026.

This is the first Velier release from this Philippine distillery on the island of Mindanao. It’s made with juice from a local cane variety. Production processes include dunder and muck. Interestingly the label leaves out the ester and/or congener count frequently seen on HV bottles.

Ko Hana

Kea White June 2025, Approved 22 May 2026.

This is the first Ko Hana label I’ve seen in a while. I don’t see anything on the label that jumps out at me as different from their others. Maybe the TTB is now making them issue new labels any time they do a release with a different cane variety (there are some things on the label that can change without needing to be re-approved, cane variety might not be one of those).

Myers’s

If you’re a bourbon fan (and/or ‘tater) and you didn’t manage to get your hands on any BTAC bottles this year, here’s your consolation prize.

Signature Cask Thomas H Handy 2nd Release, Approved 1 May 2026.

Signature Cask William Larue Weller 2nd Release, Approved 1 May 2026.

Planteray

Black Cask Barbados & Fiji, Approved 19 May 2026.

Rosalie Bay

Purple Maze Single Species, Approved 20 May 2026.

Golden Brain Single Species, Approved 20 May 2026.

Other Releases

Onyx & Amber Barbados Rum, Approved 1 May 2026.

This is almost certainly from Foursquare. The label talks about where it was aged, but there’s no age statement. But it’s bottled at a bold 70% ABV.

Just a Distillery Just Rum Queen’s Share Wine Cask Rested, Approved 29 May 2026.

I haven’t heard of this Oregon distillery before, but it’s interesting to see that they’re releasing a queen’s share style rum.

Dead Mans Chest Caribbean Rum, Approved 14 May 2026.

Typographers might note the lack of accented letters in this report (see my note at the start), but I’ll note that I didn’t make the title of this rum possessive because the label itself omits the apostrophe in Man’s. I don’t know this distillery, but the release got my attention as a 75.5% ABV Bajan rum. The likely-AI-generated label doesn’t mention the distillery, sadly. It also doesn’t explain what “Free Cane Juice” is. I have questions….
