Upcoming US Rum Releases of Interest — May 2026

Here’s a new list of upcoming rum releases for the US market compiled from TTB label certifications approved in April 2026. These are only label approvals recorded at the US TTB, so none of these are likely to be available yet and it’s anyone’s guess when they might appear in stores.

This doesn’t include every rum label approval, I’ve tried to triage the approvals to the brands that people would recognize, while also including other labels that might be interesting but excluding spiced/flavored products and most cachacas.

The TTB approved 82 rum labels in total this month, 25 are covered here.

This month’s highlights include several Velier re-releases for the US market, Black Tot’s new Perpetual Reserve, several new Alambique Serrano bottlings, and more!

You can find a link to the April 2026 edition of this report here.

Commentary and Interesting Things

  • If you’ve never had a Moldovan rum before, you’re in luck. It’s bottled at 38%, which should require it to go under the Diluted Rum category, but for some reason the TTB let this through as a standard rum. At least we don’t have any vodkas labeled as rum this month…

Releases of Interest

Alambique Serrano

4 Años 309 “Look at you, Gil”, Approved 1 April 2026.

4 Años 505 “Buena Ahí”, Approved 7 April 2026.

3 Años Cask F44, Approved 21 April 2026.

Amrut

Amrut is in the process of changing their US importer from Glass Revolution to PM Spirits, and I suspect one or two of these labels are new in the US market. Bella is certainly something I don’t think I’ve seen before, and I’ll be interested to see how similar it is to Habitation Velier’s Amrut jaggery rum releases from a few years ago.

Old Port, Approved 3 April 2026.

Bella Single Jaggery, Approved 3 April 2026.

Two Indies, Approved 3 April 2026.

Two Indies Dark, Approved 3 April 2026.

Black Tot

Perpetual Reserve, Approved 29 April 2026.

Chairman’s Reserve

Rum the Jewels, Approved 17 April 2026.

A special release in arrangement with Run the Jewels and Fred Minnick. There’s another approval for this release approved on 22 April.

Cockspur

I’m not sure I’ve seen Cockspur on the shelves in the US before, at least not frequently.

Fine, Approved 6 April 2026.

Old Gold Reserve, Approved 6 April 2026.

Hampden Estate

Remember a few months ago when PM Spirits got label approval for a 3 L Hampden bottle? And I mentioned that the back label accidentally said it was 300mL? I think this is intended to fix that.

The Younger LROK, Approved 23 April 2026.

Lyon

NSA Special Dark, Approved 23 April 2026.

This has been released before – in 2003 and 2005.

Privateer

Letter of Marque 89 Charles, Approved 7 April 2026.

Providence

5 YO, Approved 30 April 2026.

Pusser’s

Founder’s Reserve, Approved 28 April 2026.

Velier

The Royal Navy bottles are very limited re-releases of products that haven’t been in the US market before.

Guyana 2004, Approved 24 April 2026.

Royal Navy Very Old Rum, Approved 2 April 2026.

Royal Navy Tiger Shark 2019 2nd Edition, Approved 3 April 2026.

Other Releases of Interest

The Wine Trust Barbados, Approved 13 April 2026.

I’m not sure what these are intended to be, The Wine Trust appears to deal mostly in wholesale wines. These might be intended only for direct sale to restaurants.

The Wine Trust France, Approved 10 April 2026.

The Wine Trust Germany, Approved 13 April 2026.

The Wine Trust Guyana, Approved 10 April 2026.

The Wine Trust Spain, Approved 10 April 2026.

The Wine Trust Trinidad, Approved 10 April 2026.
