Upcoming US Rum Releases of Interest — January 2026

Here’s a new list of upcoming rum releases for the US market compiled from TTB label certifications approved in December 2025. These are only label approvals recorded at the US TTB, so none of these are likely to be available yet and it’s anyone’s guess when they might appear in stores.

This doesn’t include every rum label approval, I’ve tried to triage the approvals to the brands that people would recognize, while also including other labels that might be interesting but excluding spiced/flavored products and most cachacas.

The TTB approved 120 rum labels in total this month, 34 are covered here.

Probitas

Green Label, Approved 8 December 2025.

A new release from Foursquare and Hampden Estate, this time darker with caramel coloring added at Foursquare using sugar from their own crops. I called it “Green Label” because there’s nothing else on the label to distinguish it from the current Probitas release other than the green color. I assume there’ll also be a Veritas version of this for markets outside the US.

Raising Glasses

Tapati, Approved 3 December 2025.

Dhahabu Golden, Approved 5 December 2025.

Spirit of Haiti

Clairin Casimir 2022 Harvest, Approved 30 December 2025.

Tepuy

This is a new brand from some of the team that was behind Diplomatico. After selling Diplomatico to Brown-Forman, the team worked on new brands while waiting for their non-compete agreements to expire. Tepuy is their new rum brand, and they insist that it will be completely additive free and unsweetened.

Destino, Approved 16 December 2025.

This was also approved on 8 Dec.

Monumento, Approved 8 December 2025.

Other Releases

The Makugan, Approved 4 December 2025.

I’m always excited to see new Japanese rums!

Carnalito Amburana, Approved 15 December 2025.

Carnalito Mizunara, Approved 15 December 2025.

Black Frost White, Approved 17 December 2025.

Black Frost has released some interesting experiments with rums based on the research of Rafael Arroyo. Muck and dunder are sometimes involved.

United Cajun Navy, Approved 1 December 2025.

Here’s a rum that’s (possibly) for a good cause. The United Cajun Navy is a nonprofit disaster relief group. It’s unclear from the label whether any of the proceeds from sales of this go to the UCN or not, though. Hopefully they do..

United Cajun Navy Hurricane Katrina 20 Year Anniversary, Approved 1 December 2025.
