Here’s a new list of upcoming rum releases for the US market compiled from TTB label certifications approved in January 2026. These are only label approvals recorded at the US TTB, so none of these are likely to be available yet and it’s anyone’s guess when they might appear in stores.
This doesn’t include every rum label approval, I’ve tried to triage the approvals to the brands that people would recognize, while also including other labels that might be interesting but excluding spiced/flavored products and most cachacas.
The TTB approved 121 rum labels in total this month, 50 are covered here.
This month’s highlights include the re-release of several past Habitation Velier bottlings that previously sold out, the first IB release of Roulaison Rum from New Orleans, a high ester release from Alambique Serrano, lots of Bedford Park, Colours of Rum, Raising Glasses, a new Mexican rum from PM Spirits, aged rums from Rum et al., and more!

Commentary and Interesting Things
- The first time you see a vodka brand getting a label approved under the rum category, you think that it must be an accident. The second… you wonder what the odds are of getting it past someone at the TTB twice. And the third time it happens… well, I honestly don’t know what to think. But Mutiny Island Vodka has a new label that clearly states that it’s a vodka made with “100% Neutral Spirits” on the front label, yet the TTB’s approved class and type are “Virgin Islands Rum (White)”.
- The guys at Twenty-One Wine and Spirits are once again getting approvals for brands that aren’t theirs. This month we have Chamarel, Savanna Lontan and Trad G,
- Manifest Distilling has an updated label for the Rolling Stones’ Crossfire Hurricane rum.
- Mount Gay has a new approval for their Silver, I’m not sure there are any substantive changes in it, so I’m just mentioning it here.
- Koloa has a coffee flavored rum that somehow got approved in a non-flavored rum category.
- You don’t see many brands registering in the Diluted Rum category, but La Destileria Craft Spirits in Puerto Rico has an approval for El Chinchorro Seco at 30%.
- The Little River Company in Miami jumps into the solera aging fray with Flor de Habana, a Guatemalan rum that clearly claims to be aged for 25 years (then puts “Solera Method” in smaller letters underneath). They also have a Venezuelan rum that claims to be 15 years old with the same disclaimer as well as a 10 YO release.
