Here’s a new list of upcoming rum releases for the US market compiled from TTB label certifications approved in November. These are only label approvals recorded at the US TTB, so none of these are likely to be available yet and it’s anyone’s guess when they might appear in stores.
This doesn’t include every rum label approval, I’ve tried to triage the approvals to the brands that people would recognize, while also including other labels that might be interesting and excluding spiced/flavored products and most cachacas.
The TTB approved 94 rum labels in total this month, 33 are covered here.
This month’s highlights include another Alambique Serrano cask, Foursquare’s 2011 vintage ECS release, Down Island releases rum from Ghana and Paraguay, a new Hamilton blend, two Barbancourt cask finished rums, a rum from Ecuador that looks very interesting, and a new brand of grogue in the US market.
You can find the November release of this report here.
Alambique Serrano

Aged 18 months in new French oak and ex-Armagnac casks.
Down Island Spirits
Ghana Rum 2020, Approved 15 November 2023.
I believe this might be the first time rum from MIM Cashew has been available in the US.
Paraguay Rum 2016, Approved 15 November 2023.
Foursquare
ECS Mark XXIV 2011, Approved 1 November 2023.
Hamilton
The Breezeway Blend, Approved 9 November 2023.
Kuleana Rum Works
Pilina Blend, Approved 29 November 2023.
Privateer
Letter of Marque Stoked Select White Overproof, Approved 22 November 2023.
Letter of Marque Stoked Select, Approved 22 November 2023.
Michel Couvreur
8 YO Martinique/Guadeloupe blend, Approved 7 November 2023.
Single Cask Nation
Thornton Distilling Kosher for Passover, Approved 24 November 2023.
I believe this is the second time SCN has released a Thornton rum that’s kosher for Passover. Thornton’s OB rum brand is Dead Drop. I’m not Jewish so take this with a grain of salt, but I believe the main difference between this and other rums is that it’s certified by the Orthodox Union and production is overseen by an OU representative.
Other Releases
Bacoo Wish Series ex-Bourbon and ex-Tequila, Approved 1 November 2023.
Batiste Silver Single Origin Marie Galante, Approved 8 November 2023.
This is a use-up authorization that allows this label to be used for no more than 1000 cases. There is something about the label that the TTB doesn’t approve, but they’ve authorized these to be used up so the brand doesn’t need to discard the already-printed labels and print new ones.
Batiste Gold, Approved 13 November 2023.

Batiste Rye Whiskey Barrel, Approved 7 November 2023.

Distinctive Spirits Company Diamond Estate 15 YO Guyana Rum, Approved 27 November 2023.
Elephantom, Approved 16 November 2023.
I believe Kinship Spirits is new to the US market.
Forager Artisanal Silver Rum, Approved 20 November 2023.
The back label is amusing: “Our still is the most traditional kind”. I assume it’s a Portuguese or Spanish-made alambic copper still like Richland Rum and other distilleries use based on their description.
Hacienda Verzezoto Puro de Tronador, Approved 6 November 2023.
This is a new one for me, but I’ve heard great things about some of the rums emerging from Ecuador. This appears to be a single variety sugar cane rum fermented with wild yeast, so it should be very interesting.
The Last Drop Infinitum Blend Release 35, Approved 27 November 2023.
The Last Drop Infinitum Blend Release 35, Approved 27 November 2023.
I’m not sure why they filed for two labels on the same day that are essentially the same information-wise, other than the first approval not having a back label.
Lyon Bijou Batch 1, Approved 28 November 2023.
Raizes de Catano Grogue de Santo Antao, Approved 20 November 2023.
Raizes de Catano Grogue Velha Old Rum, Approved 20 November 2023.
Sitara White Rum, Approved 15 November 2023.
No distillery is given, the label describes this as a blend of pot-distilled Indian rums. It’s from Spaceman Spirits Lab, located in Goa. they also produce Samsara gin.
Skid Row 18 and Life, Approved 28 November 2023.
This isn’t the kind of release I’d normally include, but it strikes me as an unusual release. It celebrates the anniversary of the release of Skid Row’s 18 and Life song, but it’s not necessarily the throwaway release you might expect. It’s a 16 YO single origin rum from Guyana bottled at 45% (instead of the 40% you might expect).
Tanduay Reserve Sherry Cask Finished, Approved 22 November 2023.
Tanduay Reserve 10 YO Matured, Approved 22 November 2023.
Tanduay Reserve 20 YO Matured, Approved 22 November 2023.
