Here’s a new list of upcoming rum releases for the US market compiled from TTB label certifications approved in October. These are only label approvals recorded at the US TTB, so none of these are likely to be available yet and it’s anyone’s guess when they might appear in stores.
This doesn’t include every rum label approval, I’ve tried to triage the approvals to the brands that people would recognize, while also including other labels that might be interesting and excluding spiced/flavored products and most cachacas.
The TTB approved 105 rum labels in total this month, 66 are covered here.
This month’s highlights include two new Foursquare releases, the first Chalong Bay OB release in the US, a rum from Eswatini (Swaziland), the US release of Mount Gay Black Barrel at cask strength, lots of Rhum J.M and Clement single casks, a tequila cask aged Uruapan charanda, several more Tamosi bottlings, and several new SMWS rum releases.

Alambique Serrano
My joy at seeing so many Alambique Serrano releases month after month is tinged with sadness as I have yet to see any Alambique Serrano bottles in Georgia stores!

This should be interesting, I’ve not seen rum from Distillerie des Moisans (or any other Eswatini distillery) before.
Chairman’s Reserve
We’ve seen these before – they were in last mont’s report but the labels were Master’s Selection instead of Single Cask. I presume these new filings are just a branding correction (though one is still listed as a Master’s Selection in the new filing, which might be another mistake). I don’t think there’s anything new about these labels other than the branding.

Flor de Cana label updates (several)
I didn’t include these here because of space constraints and the fact that there doesn’t appear to be anything new other than a statement that the rums are carbon neutral certified.
Hogshead Gulf Coast Rum, Approved 26 October 2023.
I don’t know anything about the distillery (Bayou Terrebonne Distillers) or the rum other than what’s on the label and their website. They claim this is made from local Louisiana sugarcane but not whether it’s juice or molasses-based. There’s a white rum on their website but there’s not much more information given about it.

I’m not familiar with this brand, but I’m including it because it’s a Bajan rum (though sadly at a low proof) and finished in Amarone casks (supposedly in Italy).
