Here’s a new list of upcoming rum releases for the US market compiled from TTB label certifications approved in June 2025. These are only label approvals recorded at the US TTB, so none of these are likely to be available yet and it’s anyone’s guess when they might appear in stores.

This doesn’t include every rum label approval, I’ve tried to triage the approvals to the brands that people would recognize, while also including other labels that might be interesting but excluding spiced/flavored products and most cachacas.

The TTB approved 92 rum labels in total this month, 38 are covered here.

This month’s highlights include the first IB release of a Liberian rum, new Wisdom of Age releases from Rolling Fork, two Skeldon releases from a European bottler, a Clément label refresh, and more!

I am very much behind on producing these reports. The April, May, and June reports are still in progress. I will add links to them here once they’re finished (June will come next), but first I need to finish the August report so I can keep things current!

Commentary and Interesting Things

The folks at Twenty-One Wine & Spirits appear to be back at it, getting label approval for labels that aren’t actually theirs. This month it’s Clément Quinze Ans D’âge from Spiribam in Martinique and a Velier Caroni release. I still have no idea why they’re doing this.

The TTB approved a mango-flavored release of Saint Benevolence rum in the wrong category (“Other Rum (Gold)”) instead of a flavored rum or specialty classification.

Cihuatán got approvals for liter-sized bottles of Jade intended for on-premise sale. Brugal has a new approval for 1888 that appears to be essentially the same as the current one at a quick glance.

I think this is a label redesign, too bad they didn’t get rid of the large numbers that really have no meaning other than to mislead consumers on the front label. I’m referring to these by their label color rather than by the meaningless solera ages.
