Here’s a new list of upcoming rum releases for the US market compiled from TTB label certifications approved in May 2024. These are only label approvals recorded at the US TTB, so none of these are likely to be available yet and it’s anyone’s guess when they might appear in stores.
This doesn’t include every rum label approval, I’ve tried to triage the approvals to the brands that people would recognize, while also including other labels that might be interesting but excluding spiced/flavored products and most cachacas.
The TTB approved 134 rum labels in total this month (same as last month!), 37 are covered here.
This month’s highlights include: The birth of a new American independent bottler, Roaming Road. A flight of Myers’s releases finished in ex-BTAC casks. Grander’s first unaged rum, William Hinton agricole rums from Madeira, two new Japanese rums, and Duppy Share hits the US!
New this month are links to the TTB COLA filing for each rum label so you can pull up the actual filing if you’re curious. I’ll publish the July report later this week.
You can find the May 2024 edition of this report here.

Roaming Road
This month we see the birth of a new American independent rum bottler – Roaming Road Single Cask Spirits! It looks like they’re using Bardstown Bourbon Company in Kentucky to process their casks.
All of their labels say “100% Pure Sugar Cane”, but I think it’s a safe bet that most of these are actually molasses-based rums.
Australia 16 YO Pure Sugar Cane, Approved 13 May 2024.
Belize 17 YO Pure Sugar Cane, Approved 13 May 2024.
Guyana 7 YO Pure Sugar Cane, Approved 15 May 2024.

William Hinton
Madeira Island, Approved 16 May 2024.
The label doesn’t say but I’m pretty sure this is the unaged/silver/white/(insert your description of choice here).
3 YO French Oak Barrel, Approved 16 May 2024.
6 YO French Oak Barrel, Approved 16 May 2024.
Other Releases
Aohara White Rhum, Approved 23 May 2024.
Conga White/Gold Rums, Approved 9 May 2024.
I’m including these as one entry as this is the first time I think I’ve seen rums using Singaporean company EcoSpirits’ packaging in the US. I’m not familiar with Conga, and it might be a house brand for EcoSpirits or their US representative.
Flaviar Philippine Rum, Approved 1 May 2024.
L’Heritage Rhum, Approved 9 May 2024.
Perhaps they’re trying to make something similar to a clairin? The label doesn’t offer any hints unfortunately.
Nankai Acou, Approved 8 May 2024.
TapTap Haitian Style Rum, Approved 17 May 2024.
Haitian-inspired rums are popular this month, here’s the second one. There’s no explanation about what they mean by “Haitian Style”.
Surrendered/Expired Labels
These are labels that can no longer be used. I don’t include this section every month but I’m including it this month as it appears that Neeley Family Distillers in Kentucky is surrendering several rum label approvals, including two from Rolling Fork, who originally processed their rums there.
Rhum Batiste Single Origin Marie Galante Silver, Approved 13 November 2023.
Rhum Batiste Single Origin Marie Galante Gold, Approved 13 November 2023.
Rolling Fork Lost Cask Collection 22 YO Guadeloupe, Approved 13 October 2020.
Rolling Fork Lost Cask Collection 22 YO Barbados, Approved 21 October 2020.
Rolling Fork Single Cask 8.5 YO Barbados, Approved 11 March 2021.
Rolling Fork Single Cask 6 YO Dominican Republic, Approved 11 March 2021.
Rolling Fork Single Cask 14 YO Jamaica, Approved 3 September 2021.
Neely Family Distilleries Unaged Rum, Approved 1 January 2017
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a rum from NFD, so I thought it was worth including the label image here. I also liked the short rant they went on in section 15 of the form about their address. Have you ever seen this in stores?
